I had to tweak it as I played so the chords matched up with the words, but I can sing along same as the original. I'm liking the easy chords in comparison to other versions I've seen. My one complaint is not finishing the final verse and just saying to continue through F G C Am when it really should continue through F C G Am. I don't know why that one sentence messes with my brain while playing, but it does! Anyway, thank you!

I know this tab it's not so good.. at the beginning it was all right but when I posted it all the chords have shifted and this created a kind of "delay" in the song

Does not match up with the vocals of any pitch that I tried.... but In general the correct chord progression. I twould sound demented to be sung with the correct vocals.

About this song: The Funeral
"The Funeral" is the first single taken from Band of Horses' debut album Everything All the Time. The album was released on March 21, 2006. The song was released as a radio and video single in May 2006 in the US. The single was released commercially over a year later in the UK on limited edition numbered 7" vinyl on May 21, 2007 to coincide with the band's UK tour dates. An earlier version of the song appeared on the band's self-titled EP, under the name 'Billion Day Funeral'.
