I went down 5 half steps for plucking. (D - A - Bm - G - Em)
And plucked in this order: C-E-A-E or strings 2-3-4-3 (1 being the closest string to your chest.)
Repeat 2x / chord.

I LOVE how this actually sounds like the song! I played it using +3 half steps, and it sounded just like the original

I did one down strum until the pre-chorus then did DD strumming until the chorus then did DDU on the chorus, when if went back to the 2nd verse did 1 down strum again and then the same things DD for pre chorus and DDU for the chorus. at the bridge I did DD and then went to one strum for the last chorus at the end. Ik it's a lot to remember but just think 1 2 3 1 2 3 2 1 for d dd ddu d dd ddu dd d for the strum ming, it's a lot but sounds cool in my opinion

Down, down, up, down, down, up. This works really well but you can change the speed of your strums to match the different parts of the song. ;)

La version originale est en La : 1 ton au dessus (ou +2 demi-tons). (The original version is in A, so 1 higher tone, or +2 half-tones)

I use D, U, chunk, U, D, U, U, chunk, U, D, (U) with the up strum at the end being the chord change.

Adele plays in A, so you can play like this :
A E F#m D
(or if you think E chord too hard to play with your little fingers, try E7, easier and sound good enough)

About this song: Someone Like You
Most of 21's lyrics refer to Adele working through the ending of a relationship including this song. She recalled to The Daily Telegraph; "When I did 'Someone Like You' live on Jools Holland, I got so upset wondering and hoping and wishing that my ex would be watching it, I went back to my dressing room and sobbed. Making a record is like standing in the middle of Trafalgar Square naked, you let everyone see your good bits and bad bits. I don't know what possesses me to do that, but I'm not good at anything else." (Source Someone Like You Songfacts).
