It [C] started out as a [G] feeling
Which then [Am] grew into a [F] hope
Which then [C] turned into a [G] quiet thought
Which then [Am] turned into a quiet [F] word
And [G] then that word grew louder and louder
[C] 'Til it was a battle [Am] cry
I'll come [F] back when you [G] call [C] me
[Am] No need to say good[G]bye
[C] Just because everything's [G] changing
Doesn't mean it's [Am] never been this way be[F]fore
[C] All you can do is try to [G] know who your friends are
As [Am] you head off to the [F] war
[G] Pick a star on the dark horizon and [C] follow the [Am] light
You'll come [F] back when it's [G] o[C]ver
[Am] No need to say good[G]bye
You'll come [F] back when it's [G] o[C]ver
[Am] No need to [G] say good[F]bye
[C] Now we're back to the be[G]ginning
It's just a [Am] feeling and no one knows [F] yet
But [C] just because they can't [G] feel it too
Doesn't [Am] mean that you have to for[F]get
[G] Let your memories grow stronger and stronger
[C] 'Til they're before your [Am] eyes
You'll come [F] back when they [G] call [C] you
[Am] No need to say good[G]bye
You'll come [F] back when they [G] call [C] you
[Am] No need to [G] say good[F]bye

"[Am] No need to say good [F]bye" should continue through the piece since switching the F with G (occasionally) doesn't work if the G chord doesn't sound good with the vocal. There are a couple reoccurring lines (one per chorus) where there is only one listed chord, for this I'd also recommend adding an F unless something better sounding can be found. Great job, I had fun playing this!!
