Verse 1:
Cmaj7
Woke up from dreaming
Em
And put on his shoes

Starting making his way past 2 in the morning

Leaning out into the breeze
Em
Remembering Sunday he falls to his knees

They had breakfast together
A7
But two eggs don't last like the feeling of what he needs
Cmaj7
Now this place is familiar to him
Em
She pulls on his hand with a devilish grin
C
She led him upstairs, she led him up stairs
A
Left him dying to get in
Chrous:
G Cmaj7
Forgive me I?m trying to find
A7
My calling, I?m calling at night
Don?t mean to be a bother
C
But have you seen this girl?
G Cmaj7
She?s been running through my dreams
A7
And its driving me crazy it seems
C
I?m gonna ask her to marry me

Even though she doesn?t believe in love

He?s determined to call her bluff
Who can deny these butterflies
They?re filling his gut

Waking the neighbors

Unfamiliar faces he pleads though he tries
But he?s only denyied
A7
Now he?s dying to get inside

I?m mixed up, I?ll be blunt
C
Now the rain is just washing you out of my hair
G
And out of my mind
keeping an eye on the world
Cmaj7
So many thousands of feet off the ground

I'm over you now I'm not home in the clouds
C
Towering over your head

I guess ill go home now

great tab, but if you replace the Em with A9 it sounds much closer to the original.

Not to be rude, but isn't the point of a tab to play it yourself? Not to play it to the song? Anywho, try tuning down a step. Maybe it'll help.

You are right this not the correct key. the orginal song has a capo on the second fret. and emin should be a 9 chord. if it doesnt sound right go to a guitar chord website and check it there
