This is a lot easier than the other versions; I would say keep the C on "somehow I have to find" on each chorus, but "learn to survive" can still end on a G.
Also, Dm7 sounds fine on a guitar, but on a soprano uke I find it too bright - Dm works better (IMHO). Still, this is so much easier, and my quibbles are relatively minor.

Dm7 could be a just a Dm for beginners.. but a good simple addition for a nice song.
