I would also take issue with the placement of chords. For instance, first verse, second line - the F chord should be struck on the second syllable of "around", not on "smartest". Fourth line - the G chord should be struck on "town", not on "jailhouse". In the chorus, the C chord should be struck on "now", not on jailhouse. Try it out and see if you don't agree.
