Cm or Cmaj7 works way better than CM7

For finger picking, I use the pattern:
2-3-1-4-1-4
I'm number them as the string closest to your face is 1 and the string closest to the floor is 4.

for the intro picking part: use Gmaj7 and (G being string 1) use this pattern x4
2 - 3 - 1 - 4 - 1 - 3 - 2* - 4
*play this one note open fretted, then go back to Gmaj7
then i followed the strumming pattern shown in the video posted below by nerdist
