very nice tab ! for the strumming pattern, I do something that seems close to what is done in the sing which is fingerpicking the C string with the thumb (while the fingers are already placed for the chord), then one down strum. for example, for the first like, you will repeat that twice for the Am and twice for the C.
for the E chord just before the chorus, I like to do repetitive and faster down strums like we can hear in the song. and for the chorus, on C I do the pattern I described 3 times, then the riff (the two first notes make the 4th time) and I start the Am directly on a down strum before doing the strumming pattern 3 more times. it takes a bit of practice if you're a beginner but it's worth it !
