About this song: It's My Life
"It’s My Life” is a new wave song written by Mark Hollis and Tim Friese-Greene for Talk Talk’s second studio album, also entitled It's My Life, released in 1984. The song was released as a single in 1984, then re-released in 1985 and 1990. The 1990 reissue, to promote the Natural History: The Very Best of Talk Talk compilation, finally made the song a UK hit, reaching number 13 - the band's highest singles chart placing.An 'extended mix' of the track is available on Talk Talk's 12x12 Original Remixes album (1999).
