# Then some chords are played. I usually use some E7's,
# G's and A's* (in that order) until this part:

# * The A maj that I use looks like a standard G just two frets
# lower. However, I typically do not worry about holding the G
# string down in the second fret. It looks something like this:
A||--4--||
E||--5--||
C||--4--||
G||--0--||
# If you are a little iffy on all of the sliding, bending and
# vibrato sections, you might want to check out my simpler
# version (also here on Ukulele Tabs) first before trying out
# this one.

Top Tabs & Chords by Jimi Hendrix, don't miss these songs!
About this song: Purple Haze
Recorded in 1966, Purple Haze was the second single by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, released in both the UK and the US. It also appeared on the US release of their 1967 album Are You Experienced. 'Purple Haze' is often cited as one of Jimi Hendrix's greatest songs; for many, it is his signature song. Purple Haze became the follow-up release to "Hey Joe" after his manager Chas Chandler heard him playing the riff backstage and suggested that he write lyrics to go with it.
