This song was written by Carl Perkins, who along with Elvis Presley was a member of "The Million Dollar Quartet". Elvis Presley recorded two cover versions of the song, one in 1956 for his first album, and a 2nd version for the soundtrack of the 1960 film, "G.I. Blues".
