tarry, starry [F baritone chordF] night [ Fsus baritone chordFsus F baritone chordF ]
Paint your palette [Gm baritone chordGm] blue and grey
Look out on a [Bb baritone chordBb] summer's day
With [C7 baritone chordC7] eyes that know the darkness
in my [F baritone chordF] soul, shadows on the hills [ Fsus baritone chordFsus F baritone chordF ]
Sketch the trees and the [Gm baritone chordGm] daffodils
Catch the breeze and the [Bb baritone chordBb] winter chills
In [C7 baritone chordC7] colors on the snowy linen [F baritone chordF] land [ Bb baritone chordBb F baritone chordF ]

Now I under[Gm baritone chordGm]stand [C7 baritone chordC7] what you tried to [F baritone chordF] say to me
[Dm baritone chordDm] how you suffered for your [Gm7 baritone chordGm7] sanity
[C7 baritone chordC7] how you tried to set them [Dm baritone chordDm] free
They would not listen they did [G7 baritone chordG7] not know how
[Gm7 baritone chordGm7] per[C7 baritone chordC7]haps they'll listen [F baritone chordF] now

Starry, starry [F baritone chordF] night [ Fsus baritone chordFsus F baritone chordF ]
Flaming flowers that [Gm baritone chordGm] brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in [Bb baritone chordBb] violet haze
re[C7 baritone chordC7]flect in Vincent's eyes of china [F baritone chordF] blue
Colors changing [F baritone chordF] hue [ Fsus baritone chordFsus F baritone chordF ]
Morning fields of [Gm baritone chordGm] amber grain
Weathered faces [Bb baritone chordBb] lined in pain
are [C7 baritone chordC7] soothed beneath the artists's loving [F baritone chordF] hand

Now I under[Gm baritone chordGm]stand [C7 baritone chordC7] what you tried to [F baritone chordF] say to me
[Dm baritone chordDm] and how you suffered for your [Gm7 baritone chordGm7] sanity
[C7 baritone chordC7] and how you tried to set them [Dm baritone chordDm] free
They would not listen they did [G7 baritone chordG7] not know how
[Gm7 baritone chordGm7] per[C7 baritone chordC7]haps they'll listen [F baritone chordF] now

For they could not [Gm7 baritone chordGm7] love you
[C7 baritone chordC7] but still your love was [F baritone chordF] true [ Eb baritone chordEb D baritone chordD ]
And when no [Gm7 baritone chordGm7] hope was left in sight
on that [Bbm baritone chordBbm] starry, starry night
You [F baritone chordF] took your life as [Eb7 baritone chordEb7] lovers often [D7 baritone chordD7] do
But [Gm7 baritone chordGm7] I could have told you, Vincent
[Bb baritone chordBb] This world was never meant for one
as [C7 baritone chordC7] beautiful as [F baritone chordF] you [ Fsus baritone chordFsus F baritone chordF ]

Starry, starry [F baritone chordF] night [ Fsus baritone chordFsus F baritone chordF ]
Portraits hung in [Gm baritone chordGm] empty halls
Frameless heads on [Bb baritone chordBb] nameless walls
With [C7 baritone chordC7] eyes that watch the world and can't for[F baritone chordF]get
Like the strangers that you've [F baritone chordF] met [ Fsus baritone chordFsus F baritone chordF ]
The ragged men in [Gm baritone chordGm] ragged clothes
The silver thorn of [Bb baritone chordBb] bloody rose
lie [C7 baritone chordC7] crushed and broken on the virgin [F baritone chordF] snow
Now I think I [Gm baritone chordGm] know
[C7 baritone chordC7] what you tried to [F baritone chordF] say to me
[Dm baritone chordDm] how you suffered for your [Gm7 baritone chordGm7] sanity
[C7 baritone chordC7] how you tried to set them [Dm baritone chordDm] free
They would not listen they're not [G7 baritone chordG7] listening still
[Gm7 baritone chordGm7] per[C7 baritone chordC7]haps they never [F baritone chordF] will
