About this song: Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall
Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall is the first track to be announced as part of Coldplay's fifth album era but is not known whether it is expected to be included on the fifth Coldplay album, due for release in 2011. The The Every Teardrop is a Waterfall Songfacts reports that Chris Martin was inspired to write the upbeat song after hearing the dance track Ritmo de la Noche by Lorca during a nightclub scene in Javier Bardem's film Biutiful. The track is based on I Go To Rio written by Peter Allen and Adrienne Anderson, hence their credits as writers on this tune.
