For the opening I do DDDDUD/DDDUDU/DD/DD/DD/DD (I just used the slashes to indicate chords changes.
The rest of the song (except for some areas where I added some extra strumming for emphasis) I just strummed down once for each chord--the song is pretty relaxed IMO, so I thought less strumming would do better w the vocals.
Once the instrumental part in the middle comes, I do the same strumming pattern that I did for the opening. I think the strumming pattern I'm using for the intro sounds quite similar to the one they use in the actual song, so I hope this helps anyone looking for strumming patterns.
