About this song: Paperthin Hymn

When I say my work is inspired by poetry I mean it, several lines are inspired by long dead poets from around the world. This song is about my Oma who passed away my Junior Year of college, she was so strong. She never told any of her family that her heart was so thin she could have died at any moment the last 9 years of her life. She called my family every Sunday morning, it is a tradition I miss; she passed away an August evening in her kitchen in St. Joseph, Michigan.
