Biography George Lucas
George Lucas got quite famous for his Star Wars trilogy in the 70s and 80s, but he actually made some films that were critically acclaimed before that, as the rock'n roll epos American Graffiti (where Han Solo actor Harrison Ford got his break) and before that his excellent THX 1138 with Robert Duvall (the film actually was a Francis Coppola sponsored remake of a student film of Lucas'). Since The original Star Wars he has mainly been working with sequels and remastering his old films, making loads of money.
