Finally had the guts to try to learn a Steely Dan song. This is pretty great. The interludes and verses are very good.
In my opinion, you could add in an F to the chorus after the C in the Gmaj7-Em progression during the chorus (In the gap before "I did not think the girl..."). Also I think it sounds better with straight Em's and Am's rather than the Em7s/Am7s.
