# There are 2 halves to this song.
# 1st half
# F and A are repeated over and over, I recommend seeing the vidio for strumming pattern. It's pretty easy to pick up from there
# The hammers
# I will give the example on F
1| | | 1| |o|
2| | | 2| | |
# 3|o| | Then 3|o| | x4 } All of this x3
4| | | 4| | |
# Then add
1| | |o| 1| |o| 1| | 1| |o|
2| | | | 2| | | 2| | 2| | |
3|o| | | 3|o| | 3|o| 3|o| |
4| | | | , 4| | | , 4| | , 4| | |
# You do the same for A but move from the 3rd string to the 2nd to make an A shape
# 2nd Half
# the second half starts towards the end of the instrumental piece, between the 2nd and 3rd verses. the second half is a repeat of 4 chords
# Bbadd9 , F , Dm , C
# Again I recommend looking at the video for strumming patterns as they change a little throughout the later half of the song.

best version on this sight (I looked through them all). The others all lack the hammer-ons that make or break this song.

Great guide to picking up this song. The hammer-ons and pull-offs are the key to making this piece sound right. check out the video (search for the one they're talking about, you'll know it when you see it) to get a feel for the flow. This song was one of the first I learned on the Uke and still one of my favorites.

I really don't think we need an other "postcard from italy" tab.. Especially that this one may not be clear enough.. There are already good ones on the site so i don't think this one is a keeper.
